    Hi ACADP team,
Thanks for your answers in the other tickets. I will desperately wait for the next update of this plugin.

One more issue I am facing. I am not sure, from when I started facing this but here is what is happening –
    1. A user registration happens through the ACADP registration form.
    2. The user is given by default a subscriber’s role.
    3. The subscriber posts a new advert.
    4. An approval mail comes to the administrator.
    5. On the edit post (for publishing), Check the slug, by default there is some number mentioned in it. If you don’t take care of it, the post will be published by a URL with that number.
    6. BIG PROBLEM: On the same edit post (for publishing), I see that there is only two kind of roles available in the Author drop-down 1. Users with role Administrator 2. Users with role Author. This is a big problem.
To solve this, I have to first check which user has posted this listing/advert. Then go to users list and search him & make him author (Which I definitely don’t want to do). Once he has become an author, come back to edit the post (for publishing) and then select this user as the owner/author of the listing and publish the ad. Meantime, I have to keep track of the user to convert him back to subscriber again(to avoid any misuse of being an author). Expected is the user who has posted this listing/advert should be available by default in the author/owner of listing dropdown.

Thanks for reading the above problem patiently. Please advise if I am doing something wrong here or there are any settings which I am missing to do.

    Hi,

    5. On the edit post (for publishing), Check the slug, by default there is some number mentioned in it. If you don’t take care of it, the post will be published by a URL with that number.

    – By default the Listing Title will be the slug for listing. I assume that your user added number as the Title. Otherwise the title may be duplicate and in this case WordPress will change the slug to Numbers.

    6. BIG PROBLEM: On the same edit post (for publishing), I see that there is only two kind of roles available in the Author drop-down 1. Users with role Administrator 2. Users with role Author. This is a big problem.

    – Kindly check at this post https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6330008/wordpress-custom-users-not-appearing-in-author-box?answertab=votes#tab-top

The “Authors” drop down is a WordPress option and it doesn’t display subscribers. But, in future we would make this dropdown to work for all users.

As an immediate solution, you can post listings from front-end for the same user using his credentials and just activate his order under the “Payments” menu of the plugin.

    Thanks
