I tried replicating the issue on a fresh test site, and everything is working as expected on my end.
It’s possible that a plugin or theme conflict is causing the issue on your site. I recommend running a conflict test—ideally on a staging server to avoid affecting your live site.
If the issue still persists after testing, could you please provide the version numbers of the following?
- PHP
- WordPress
- The Events Calendar
- The Events Calendar PRO (if applicable)
- Event Tickets
- Event Tickets PLUS (if applicable)
- Theme

Please re-open this thread we’re seeing the same error.
For us its happening on requests to the WP Rest API, e.g. /wp-json/wp/v2/
