As described in the documentation at https://help.xyzscripts.com/docs/social-media-auto-publish/faq/how-can-i-create-linkedin-application/ ,
the new v2 api requires additional permission for posting to company pages.
If your app (configured in the plugin) do not have the permission approved from linkedin then it will return error when you set v api usage to basic profile+ company page.
Without review you can only use the basic profile field.
Otherwise you can use our smapsolution’s app( month free trail available).

Hi! I’m receiving the same error as OP. I’ve been trying to set up the LinkedIn Auto Publish for my company, following the tutorial here: https://help.xyzscripts.com/docs/social-media-auto-publish/faq/how-can-i-create-linkedin-application/.
I verified my company application and sent it to LinkedIn for confirmation, which I received within 24 hours. I checked the the client ID and client secret are correct in the plugin, and the redirect URL is correct under settings. When I clicked Save, everything seemed fine, but when I went to Authorize, instead of getting a verification popup like the tutorial said I should, I instead received the following error: unauthorized_scope_error:Scope.
Any advice as to what I’m doing wrong would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
