Hey, I have an issue with this sub plugin, but also with the main plugin.

Problem 1: I am running a BOGO promotion where anyone who buys any other item gets digestive enzymes product for free, as a way to kickstart everything.

The issue is that with the main plugin – everything is working as intended, when the person manually adds any product and the promo product in question.

It appears properly on the cart (the other one is free), it appears properly in the checkout screen and the discounts are clearly shown.

When I use the Auto Add products plugin – nothing happens, tried it in 5 different ways, it doesn’t fire, nothing is shown.

Problem 2: I decided to run a different promotion in the interim, simple discount campaign, you get 40% off for any orders over $50. The information is shown as intended only at the end of the checkout screen, nowhere else.

Idea – set the ability to show the BOGO message over the pricing even if someone is not running BOGO promotion.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @bellaikko

Thank you for choosing our plugin.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you would like to create a BOGO deal or its variations like (Buy 2 Get 1 free, Buy 3 Get 1 free), then please read the articles below.

Also, there are templates for these rules under the pricing lists – “Add from template” button.

Note: You should list only one product in the “Get” items when you use “Buy x Get y – different products” promotion, then the plugin can add the free product automatically to the cart.

The WooCommerce auto add products to cart plugin is not for BOGO deals, but you can use it to auto add for conditions like “cart minimum spend”, “at least one product in cart” and so on. For BOGO deal scenarios just use the “BOGO” deal promotions from the discount plugin. There are pre-built templates for auto add rules using the “Add from template” button.

2: You can use a cart discount rule for this purpose. You can use an existing template for this purpose. In the discounts list there is a “Add from template” button, click on it and choose “Minimum Spend: Spend $100 Get 10% Off” campaign and edit it based on your requirements.

If the above campaign doesn’t work, maybe there is a conflict on your site causes this issue, To troubleshoot, deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and the Discount plugin. Test the functionality; if it works correctly, reactivate the plugins one by one to pinpoint the one causing the issue.

You can also try with another theme too.

You can try the same rule on our demo website to ensure that it is working fine.

In case the above tips can’t help you, please contact us here with the information below to let us check it out.

    • A full-page screenshot of the rules.
    • A screenshot of the issue.

    I hope it helps.

    Best regards
