I’m having an odd issue with the columns. I have columns set to 0.
    First row shows 5 images
Second row, 1 image aligned to the right
Next few rows show 5 images across

It’s happened on all galleries on the site and I cannot for the life of me figure out what’s happening.

If I set the columns, they’re fine but then break at smaller screen resolutions. If I set the columns to 0, I get this issue.

@norlink – Does the specific inserted display have a value set for the number of columns in the customizations accordion panel of the Insert Gallery Window (IGW) / Add Gallery button interface?

Otherwise, a first hand view of the inserted display may be helpful, can you share a URL to it?

    Thanks!

No. I’ve checked and played around with columns in the Add Gallery button within the page.

Here’s the links to the 4 galleries:

    http://chantal.norlink.net/make-up/face-painting/
    http://chantal.norlink.net/portfolio/

You can see it’s just 1 row per page that seems to be messed up. Depending on the width of the change, the ‘orphaned’ image seems to change so I don’t think it’s even image-related.

@norlink – Although the default I am seeing on those pages is rows of four images I can see the effect you are describing when changing the viewport size of my browser.

Further review shows that not all of the thumbnails are exactly the same size and this one pixel difference combined with the theme’s responsiveness is causing the issue you are seeing. Generally I would suggest the best approach is to force the thumbnails to be all the same size which should correct the issue you are seeing.

Using the generate new thumbnails bulk action should help to sort this out.

    Thanks!

That worked beautifully! I would have never thought to re-create all the thumbnails. All the images were added ages ago using the old v1.9.13 for the most part and then updated now to the latest version.

    Thank you for the help!

@norlink – Thanks for the update; and, it’s great to read this is working for such a long time user.
