Issue with Discount Code Not Applying During Checkout

    Hi,

    I’m experiencing an issue with the discount code functionality during checkout on my site. When a customer enters a discount code, the system gets stuck displaying the message:
    “Applying discount code. Please wait…”
    and nothing further happens.

    Interestingly, this only seems to occur when the discount is less than 100%. If the code gives a 100% discount, it works as expected and the checkout proceeds correctly.

    I’ve tested this multiple times and confirmed that:

    • The issue happens consistently with any discount below 100%.
    • The loading message remains indefinitely and no discount is applied or calculated.
    • No errors are shown on screen, just the infinite “Applying…” state.

    Could you please investigate this? Let me know if you need temporary access or further details from my end.

    Hello @oliverjk,

    I have tested this on a local instance and everything seemed to work correctly.

    I would like to ask you for some additional information:
    1. A screenshot of the plugins page at Dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins. Please make sure that our plugin and it’s version is clearly visible.

    2. Are you using any caching solutions? (a separate plugin or a feature from your host)

    Hi again,

    After further testing, I’ve discovered that no discount codes are currently working on my site, regardless of type or value.

    What happens:

    • The checkout gets stuck on:
      “Applying discount code. Please wait…”
    • The browser console shows this error: pgsqlKopierRedigerPOST https://URL.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 500 (Internal Server Error) → triggered from: frontend-discount-code.js?ver=2.14.9:135
    • No error message is displayed to the user, just infinite loading

    I’ve tried deactivating all hosting and cache plugins, but the issue still persist.

    WordPress, PMS, and all add-ons are up to date

    Could you please take another look or advise next steps?

    Hello @oliverjk,

    Could you please look at your PHP error log and check what errors appear there regarding our plugins, especially Fatal errors? If you do not have access to the PHP error log, please ask your host provider to check what errors you have regarding this issue.

    Please send a screenshot of the error message you’re seeing there.
