issue with ftp

    hello

    i am using your great plugin for long time
    previously i used it for google drive and i didn’t have any issue but recently i am using for ftp on my personal server (VPS)
    but unfortunately it doesn’t work
    i put this address in remote path:
    C:\inetpub\ftproot

    when i test ftp it could login successfully but could not send backup it show me this message:

    ftp test setting results:we successfully logged in but were not able to create a file in the given directory

    message:
    php event code E_WARNING: ftp_nb_fput(): the parameter is incorrect (line 78 wpcontent/plugins/updraftplus/imcludes/ftp.class.php

    please help me
    what can i do?

    Hi,

    That’s not a valid remote FTP path. If you log in using a desktop FTP program, e.g. FileZilla, then what is shown in it as the remote path?

    i tried by cutftpro software it could connect to ftp server but could not send files
    i git following error:

    Hi,

    I don’t have any insight into why cutftpro can’t connect to your FTP server – for that, the best thing to do would be to talk to the admin of the FTP server.

    hello sir

    i contacted to server administrator they did check my ftp account there is no any issue with ftp account i can connect to server and send files by filezila and cuteftp but your plugin doesn’t work
    i give this address as remote path:
    C:\inetpub\wwwroot
    this address there is on server but plugin doesn’t send any backup files
    can you plese give me a example for remote path?

    Hi,

    I am confused. Earlier you said “i tried by cutftpro software it could connect to ftp server but could not send files”. Presumably something changed?

    yes because i contacted to server administrator and they fixed something i can connect and send file with software such as cuteftp but your plugin doesn’t work
    i want just you give me please some examples for remote path
    C:\inetpub\ftproot can be right address?

    Q2: is it possible i send backups on a VPS that its not hosting my website?

    When you use your FTP program, what does it show as the remote path? Can you link a screenshot?

    As long as it’s running an FTP or SFTP or other suitable server that UD supports, yes.
