Issue with homepage permalink using Consulting Pro theme

We are using a theme called Consulting Pro. When you land on the site you can see a slider and then three key news items followed by recent blogs.

When you go to another page, you can see there is the main menu and also a breadcrumb menu.

If you click the home button on the main menu it goes to a blank hime page. The permalink is hygienesolutions.com/home

if you click on the breadcrumb home button it goes to the original landing page.

I have tried to go through all the parts of the customised them but no solution to this issue.

The homepage setting is currently set to ‘Latest Post’

if I change this to static page the main menu ‘home’ button works correctly but I lose the blogs at the bottom of the page.

Can anyone assist.
