    Hi,

I am using all-bootstrap-blocks plugin and have turned off “areoi-dashboard-global-bootstrap-icon-css” setting in the dashboard page of plugin. Still when I go to a page which does not have any icon but element such as button which supports icon, the CSS is called on the page which is undesirable for me which you have explained here https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/include-bootstrap-icon-css/.

My point is when I have turned off the setting the CSS should not be added at all to the page.

Even when turned ON there should be a check if any bootstrap icon is being loaded on page. I hope that makes sense. It seems like a bug that after turning off CSS setting still the BS icon CSS loaded on page.

    Please share your views. Appreciate.

    Hi @shinetheword

Thanks for reaching out. I can’t make it remove the bootstrap icon css using that option, as it may break other sites that are already using icons with buttons etc.

Instead I have added an additional option under the “Include Bootstrap Icon CSS” option which is labelled “Force Exclude for Bootstrap Icon CSS”. If you check that box the CSS will be fully removed even if buttons are included on the page. It will also hide the icon option for buttons and prevent the icon block from being added within the editor.

    Thanks again for reaching out.

    Miles
