Issue with redirection plugin

    Hi,

    I’m experiencing an issue with the plugin creating ‘/ to /’ redirect loops for no reason, I assume that is a redirect from the homepage to the homepage?

    That only happens occasionally when I’m making redirects live using csv document import. I’m not sure if it reads the blank cells in the document for some reason.

    For example, I was importing a csv sheet with 50 redirects, but it uploaded over 400 redirects in the end, with most of them being these / to / redirect loops, which had to be deleted manually. It is not a site-specific issue either and occasionally happens across multiple sites. I noticed that it is more likely to occur when uploading a document with a lot of redirect on it.

    Could you please advise why that might be happening and if there is a way I can prevent this from happening again?

    The plugin will create whatever redirects are in your CSV file. This indicates your CSV file is incorrect, and you should change it so that the unwanted redirects are not created.
