Issue with registertions

    Issue creating new users.

    I have installed Nextend Social Login on my wordpress site.
    When I click on facebook button for new users – it does stuff and redirects to wp-login page and nothing happens after.
    But when I am already logged in with wordpress directly, and click on the button to link it workes fine and next time I can login fine with facebook button.

    Not sure what am I misconstruing that plugin does not create new users.

    Hi @alexelba !

    The WordPress default registration is probably disabled on your site at WordPress > Settings > General > Membership – Anyone can register.
    This is the Membership value that Nextend Social Login inherits by default. So if you have it disabled, then the registration with social login will also be disabled, however social accounts can still be linked to existing WordPress accounts.

    To enable the registration with social login regardless of your WordPress settings you should go to Nextend Social Login > Global Settings > General tab:

    find our own “Membership” setting and set it to “Enabled”.

    Great thanks for reply, “Membership” setting is set it to “Enabled”. I can register emails by email just fine. Will publish the blog to live website and share the link right now its on dev server
