    Hello,

    My issue has to do with the required phone number field. If someone uses the PayPal button on the Cart page (Express checkout) then it takes them right to PayPal, however it then routes back to the website checkout page saying that the “shipping phone number is a required field”. That alone is inconvenient. But then it takes them through the entire checkout process making them have to enter email as well, along with address, shipping options etc. So it’s basically pointless to have this Express option on the cart page. (FYI, I’m using Fluid Checkout plugin for the checkout steps, and that includes requiring a phone number).

    So in order to prevent this from happening, it is best to remove the PayPal option on the Cart page in this scenerio, however there is no option to do that in the settings for your plugin. The only options are to place the PayPal button above or below the “Proceed to Checkout” button.

    Can you please provide me a way to fix this solution by being able to remove the Express checkout option on the cart page? So basically removing the PayPal button here. I would really appreciate your help with this. Thanks.

    That is incorrect, the option to enable/disable PayPal on your cart page exists. Here is a screenshot showing you where you can control the PayPal button visibility.

    Our documentation covers how to enable the billing phone within your PayPal business account. By enabling that option, PayPal will provide the customer’s phone number.

    Ok, so I finally found where you can remove the PayPal button from the cart page, but I’m wondering if you have any ideas on how to deal with the rerouting back to checkout page due to required phone number, which it seems PayPal does not populate. Thanks!
