    `Hello everyone,

I’m using the Photonic Gallery free version.

When I scroll the images, during the “loading” from an image to another one, the image appears then for a second disappear (like a jump) and the rapper.

How can I fix this issue?

    Thanks!

    Hi @sayontan,

    thank you for your reply!

I thought I’ve already linked the page, anyway:

All the galleries created on this website has this little annoying issue in the loading between an image and another one.

I am not able to replicate the issue on this link (or maybe I am not able to understand the issue that you are describing).

But I see that you have a lazy-loading plugin added to your galleries. Can you disable that? Photonic is heavily optimized for handling layouts and user experience – if you add separate lazy loading plugins, they interfere with Photonic’s behaviour and cause different issues with rendering.

    Hi @sayontan,

Is the W3 Total Cache plugin that has this option, I just disabled that now but the problem is still on.

    But!!
I just discovered that I see this issue just with Safari, with Chrome is fine (I dunno about Firefox or others).

In Safari when you open an image of the gallery and start to scroll, the images disappear for a second after loading and then reappear.

Is very fast but also very annoying.

Unfortunately I am a Windows and Linux person – I don’t have a Mac where I can test for Safari. If you give me a couple of weeks, I can do it once my wife returns (she uses a Mac and is out for 2 more weeks).

So, I was finally able to get an old Mac and try this. Unfortunately I still don’t understand which issue you are trying to raise (at least, I am unable to reproduce it).

Can you try using a different lightbox? You can do so from Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Generic Settings → Inbuilt Lightbox libraries. By default “Baguettebox” is selected, but you can use something else.

Not sure why you couldn’t see the issue, it’s in the loading between every image but only if you browsing with Safari.

Anyway, I changed the lightbox to another one on the list and now is ok! I think there is an issue of compatibility between the lightbox Baguettebox and the internet browser Safari.

    Thank you!
