Hi, I have a client site using your plugin to generate a sitemap. I won’t share the link publicly.

We have a number of custom post types set and have found that CPTs with single-word slugs (such as “products”) have working sitemaps (products-sitemap.xml) with the expected links listed. But if the CPT has a multi-word slug (such as “for-example”), the sitemap (for-example-sitemap.xml) lists no urls at all. Any idea why that might be?

I’ve confirmed this on the latest version of the plugin on the latest version of WordPress on a dev environment on the host Pantheon. We have Yoast enabled but its sitemap function turned off. The only caching plugin enabled is Pantheon’s own “Pantheon Advanced Page Cache.”

  • I am having a similar issue where custom post types don’t end up in the sitemap. single word vs multi-word slug doesn’t seem to make a difference for me (just tested). But still nothing in the custom post type site map.

@tgakk / @mattsaler: can you test the latest release (v4.1.18)? We believe this issue is resolved in that version.

Ah, glad to hear it! We ended up going with a different solution, however. Good luck, @tgakk!

Thanks auctollo. I actually went with a different solution in the end as well, but appreciate you looking into it and hopefully it’s fixed for others!
