    Hi there

We’re having problems using the Subscriptions for WooCommerce plugin (WP Swings) with multi currencies in WooCommerce. When we add a subscription product to cart in CAD (the default currency), it works fine, but when we add it in GBP (the country I’m currently located in), the subscription product is getting discounted with a “Save £111” message beneath the product name. We can’t work out where this discount is coming from. There are no sale prices, no coupons and no trial periods set up.

It only seems to be happening for this currency. Can you confirm this Subscriptions plugin should work with multi-currencies in WooCommerce? Or suggest how we might fix this?

    Thanks.

  • Hi @zerogmedia ,

Thank you for reaching out and providing a detailed explanation of the issue. To clarify, WooCommerce doesn’t include a multi-currency switcher by default, which means this feature was likely added through a plugin.

For support, it’s best to create a topic with WP Swings here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/subscriptions-for-woocommerce/.

To help identify the multi-currency plugin you’re using, could you please share your system report by going to WooCommerce → Status → Get System Report → Copy for Support and then share it via Pastebin?

    Hi there

We’ve also raised a ticket with WP Swings to see if they can help. We’re using Woo Payments, which is what allows the multi-currency, right?

Here’s a link to the system report in Pastebin: https://pastebin.com/NDN9rC5w

Can you shed any more light on this?

    Thanks.

    Hi @zerogmedia,

Thank you for your response and clarification. I’m glad to hear you’ve already reported the issue to WP Swing, as they’re best positioned to investigate it.

You are correct that WooPayments includes a multi-currency switcher. If the problem were specifically tied to WooPayments’ currency switcher, we would have advised you to open a topic in the WooPayments forum. However, in this case, the issue seems to be directly related to the subscription itself and possibly its settings.

WP Swing’s support team will be able to troubleshoot and guide you on the next steps. After hearing back from them, you’re welcome to start a new topic here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce-payments/ if you need additional assistance. If the matter falls within our scope, we’ll be happy to help.
