Issue with using CheckBox for search Input

Hi, I am setting up searchable Property Stats but running into an issue with using checkboxes for the Search Input. Lets use a location as an example, “Manhattan”. If I use dropdowns then Manhattan filters in the search properly, but if I use checkbox as the Search Input I get the no results for the response.

Any Idea of what I am doing wrong here? What I need to do is if Manhattan is checked, then that would be the same as selecting yes from a drop down.
