Issue/Bug: App code doesnt work well, only email code

    Hi,
    I used all time email codes generated by this plugin but now I decided to add also app code and to access by app code so I use to scan the code on the app and activated the code.

    When I try to login code is not accepted. I think there is a time issue… maybe as I AM in Italy or your plugins show two different time in use is used the first time and not the seconds… semms the generated code by the app has not the same timer validity and sometime is impossibile to access with app code.

    So not just for me but also for other user in Italy where I suggested this plugin app code doesn’t work well, works in the full setup but after sometime is impossibile to login because code is not accepted.

    Hi @peopleinside,
    This plugin used time-based code, so you need to make sure:
    1. Server time is correct, if it’s not correct, try to press sync button at top right of wp2sv screen.
    2. Phone time is correct

    I know is time based but is not working well in Italy.
    Wordpress time is correct. If I SSH server also server time are correct

    Phone Time is correct.
    Wordpress Time is Correct.
    Your plug in say that server time is different but from SSH Server time is correct and also should be used WordPress time…

    Seems your plug in is using Universal Time not Local time because in WordPress Local time is correct, server time also is correct

    Also I AM not secure that code sent by email are able to not ask anymore code for 30 days.
    I use code by email but is continue to ask code all time or often

    Hi @peopleinside
    1. I see your wp time is 12:41:29 while your phone time is 12:50:18 ~ 10 min diff?
    2. To remember computer for 30 days you can check Trust this computer https://ps.w.org/wordpress-2-step-verification/assets/screenshot-1.png
    3. Please try on a clean wp install to make sure if it’s conflict with other plugins

    Hi,
    thank you for your reply. It’s not my phone but my server the black screen.

    In those day I had issue with code also in another website where your plug in has nothing to do. The support of that website invited me to install ClockSync Android app and this solved the issue on their website. I will test now also on my website with your plugin 🙂 but is strange because when I setup the code in my website code works. Is when I log in that maybe work one or two time, after that next time will no acept any code I put.
