    Hello @cadkiller,

Thanks for sharing your site URL. We checked it, and it seems like Jetpack isn’t installed at all. Is this the first time Jetpack has been connected to your site?

Could you confirm that the plugin is installed and activated? You can find some step-by-step guidance on this page if you want to double-check that you have activated it correctly.

Look forward to your reply, thanks!

That code will never work here but just the link will.

    Hi @cadkiller

Let me help you troubleshoot the Jetpack connection issue. Since xmlrpc.php is accessible, let’s check some other common causes:

    • Temporarily deactivate all other plugins and switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Four to rule out conflicts
    • Check if your server’s outbound connections to WordPress.com are blocked
    • Verify your WordPress address (URL) and site address (URL) settings are correct in Settings > General

I’d also suggest contacting your hosting provider and asking them to check their security logs for any blocked requests to the xmlrpc.php file on your site, using the Jetpack by WordPress.com user agent.

You can also ask them to allow our IP addresses listed here:

Please note that these IP addresses could change (or more could be added) at any time, which could break your connection to Jetpack. For this reason, we actually discourage whitelisting specific IPs, although with some hosts it may be the only option.
