Hi there!
This might be a browser issue, however, I can see some problems with Jetpack connection on your site so let’s first make sure we solve that.
While your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file:
http://charami.com/xmlrpc.phpThis file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. It must return the following message:
XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only. You can see a working example here:
https://jetpack.com/xmlrpc.php
Since your site returns a blank page, I would recommend that you check the following:
1) Can you see the /xmlrpc.php file at the root of your WordPress installation when accessing your site via FTP? If you don’t, then please try re-installing WordPress. You can do this by going to the Dashboard -> Upgrades page, then click the “Reinstall WordPress” button.
2) Do you use any security plugins that may block access to this file? If so, could you try to disable them? You might also want to check your site’s .htaccess file for any rules that might be blocking access to the xmlrpc.php file.
3) Does your hosting provider block access to this file? If you don’t find any plugin that may block access to the file on your site, I would recommend that you get in touch with your host.
Once we are able to access your site’s xmlrpc.php file, you should be able to connect Jetpack to https://wordpress.com. Let me know if the issue persists after that.
Hi,
Thank you for your clear and extensive answer!
I went through all your suggestions without finding fault, so eventually contacted my host and it appears that they are indeed blocking the file 🙁Unfortunately, the use of the XMLRPC.PHP file has been permanently disabled on our Shared hosting servers. Our management has reached that decision after we suffered downtime for some of our clusters due to exploits from this file. XMLRPC can be used/accessed only by Jetpack.
So I guess that I can’t resolve this issue, without changing host or hosting plan 🙁
Hi,
I’ve got an updated reply from my host suggesting using the “rename-xmlrpc” WordPress plugin.
Would that be a way to resolve the issue I have or not? Thanks in advance!
Does the host not offer this option for you? If they don’t then seeking an alternative would be the only other option. Try it out on a testing or localized site first.

I’m having issues to comment directly in a blogpost when I’m logged in as the site administrator. When I click “submit” on the comment, I get an error saying that I need to fill out my name and email address, which is weird since I’m already logged into the site as its administrator.
I can comment on posts when I do it through the “Dashboard > Comments” or when I log out of my site.
I first tried to resolve the issue through my WordPress theme provider, but everything is compatible with WordPress on their end, so the issue should be with Jetpack.
Checking Jetpack options, I currently have the option ticked that allows users to comment using their WordPress.com, Twitter, Facebook or Google account. When I switch that option off, I can comment on posts as administrator. When the option is switched on again, the same issue presents itself.
