Hi, @ffusion!
Thank you for letting us know about this problem!
We checked on a test site, but could not replicate the issue. Could you please post the URL of the page where your Team WD is published?
We’ll take a look at it with a couple of Android phones and see if we can detect the issue.
Thanks! Have a wonderful day!
The site is not live yet. It is in a sub-directory of their live site. You can find the plugin being used here. This is the last item that needs to be addressed to go live. We are hoping to launch next Tuesday at the latest.
Thank you for looking into this!

Hello, @ffusion!
Thank you for the link! Luckily, we were able to replicate the problem, the page froze after opening the popup of 3 team members.
Could you please contact our team through this form, so we can have a closer look? Also please mention the link to this forum thread.
Our development team will provide a solution ASAP, and we’ll post it here.
Cheers!
Hi, @ffusion!
Our development team has looked through your team page, and did notice the problem a couple of times. However, they looked through Team WD plugin, but could not find a problem with it.
They suspect, that the browser freezing problem is related to the weight of site images. Also, seems like you have added post, page and also contact titles in <span> tags. This is not recommended.
Thank you! have a wonderful day!
The bio images are less than 1MB total. That doesn’t seem excessive. Are you saying that is too much for the phone to load?
I just changed the image slider at the top to a single image, but that shouldn’t even be showing up on a mobile screen.
I don’t see how the spans around the doctor’s last names should cause any problems. I’m doing that so that I can wrap their last name to a second line on the image hover view so that parts of their names and degrees don’t get cut off. Do you have any other suggestions on how to keep their names/degrees from being cut off without using spans?
I’m not sure what is meant by page and post spans.
What can be done to resolve this?

Hey, @ffusion!
Could you please try a couple of things, which might help to detect the problem?
Please enlarge the value of post_max_size and memory_limit directives in php.ini file of your website. In case you are not sure how to do this, please ask your hosting provider.
Check the team page afterwards (or we can check it for you), and see if the problem gets resolved.
Thank you! Have a wonderful day!
Those were set at
memory_limit: 256M
post_max_size: 64M
I have increased them to
memory_limit: 512M
post_max_size: 128M
Please check that page again with the Android phones.
Hey, @ffusion!
Thank you for making these changes, but seems like this did not help.
We think this problem is occurring because of the animation effects. They are done with Javascript and this can affect the running speed of the browser.
I will ask our development team to disable the animations and test the website this way. I’ll keep you posted on the progress.
Cheers!
Hello, @ffusion!
Our development team has a question for you. Do you use other display types of Team WD or just Portfolio view?
If you only use Portfolio, we can make the code lighter by removing the rest and disabling unnecessary animations.
Let us know what we should do.
Thanks! Have a wonderful day!
Yes, just only use the portfolio. Thank you!
Hello, @ffusion!
Thank you for letting us know, I have asked out developers to make the changes.
Cheers!
Hi, @ffusion!
I am happy to inform you, that our development team finally figured the freezing problem on your website.
Firstly they removed all the other views, besides Portfolio, but the problem was still present, so they investigated further.
Then they found custom CSS code which you have added for Team WD, and the plugin started functioning properly after removing that code.
So they have brought back all Team WD views since they weren’t the cause of this problem and removed your custom CSS.
Afterwards, they added the styles by adding them into Team WD files. Here is the list of the files, which were modified:
1. staff-team/js/SC_Script.js
2. staff-team/includes/ShowCases/5.PortfolioContactCss.php
3. staff-team/includes/Main_Styles.php
We tested on a few Android phones, and the problem was gone.
Thanks! Have a great day!
That’s great news! So where do I get the update files from? And once I have those in place, all I need to do is remove my custom css from my other style sheet? Is that correct?
