This has been asked before, without any real concrete solution given.

To reiterate — the table doesn’t resize on mobile devices, it runs off the right side of the screen. Font size has no bearing.

Most have no response. One lists that CSS changes can be made to resolve the issue — but no mention of what CSS changes/additions need to be addressed.

I use gigpress for a number of clients, but this issue has them asking me to switch to another plugin. I’d rather not — but I do need to resolve this issue to continue using the plugin.

I appreciate your attention in this matter.

    Hey there ,

Thanks for your interest in our products!

I found a post on our feature ideas/request forum where someone was asking to make GigPress more responsive as well. At this point, probably the best thing to do would be to upvote the idea → https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/33980812-make-gigpress-responsive

GP does see the occasional security patch when necessary, but I’m not sure when a major update is planned for the future.

Have you considered trying The Events Calendar and/or Event Tickets?

    Take care,
    Ed 🙂

    it wasn’t really resolved, though.

i guess you could close it — but to call it resolved would mean there was a solution.

all that was mentioned was that someone else asked about it. that’s not really a solution, and it certainly doesn’t allow me to continue to use the product.

as to the other “solution” — neither event tickets nor events calendar does what we need. gigpress, however, does — it just isn’t responsive on mobile… which is a huge problem for modern music sites.

I do have the same issue. Yet still I really like the simplicity of GigPress. It would be perfect if it only had a more responsive frontend design.
I already made some adjustments via css, like hiding the calendar add button or the upper border. But this is not enough for the majority of people using smartphones, as @trcrowe already pointed out
I really do like this event list –> https://rikasband.de/#events

Hopefully this is a little bit of inspiration for you and your plugin development.

    Best regards,
    phil
