Hi @sirlouen,
The error indicates it’s an issue with your host — perhaps an old version of curl. You might need to consult with your hosting provider and upgrade cURL on the server.
After upgrading, please try sending a test email and if the error still exists, share full error log that will appear at the button after failed test email. In case it helps, here’s a screenshot for quick reference.
Thanks!
Hi @sirlouen – We haven’t heard from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved. If you still have questions, though, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
I switched from the Mailgun API to the SMTP option. Can’t confirm what’s going on. If you think is working fine, then close this ticket.
Hi @sirlouen,
I’m sorry to hear that the issue is still not resolved, the error message you’re seeing while using Mailgun API seems to be a curl issue and your hosting provider should fix this for you.
While using ‘Other SMTP’ option, could you please try sending a test email (under Settings > WPForms > Email Test) and share the details of the error from that here?
This will help us to get a better idea of what might be going on.
Thanks!
In fact my server is a dedicated server and php-curl is updated to the latest version for php 7.3.7
I think you misunderstood: I’ve solved it with SMTP version, still the API version doesn’t work.
