issues trying to run the plugin

Hi,
I can’t get the plugin running and out of ideas what could actually be causing, appearantly, multiple issues.

1. When assets retrieval mode is set to direct, the plugin cannot fetch any loaded scripts no matter how long I wait.
2. When it’s set to the other option, I am getting this error: “It looks like there are no public .css files loaded or the ones visible do not follow the WordPress way of enqueuing styles.”
3. I cannot get anything done on the front end either, since the footer is not showing up. I have checked the footer.php according to the recommendations found over the internet and everything’s intact and it’s supposed to work.

The site is running cloudflare. I have tried setting it to the developers mode and I have also tried disabling all of the caching related plugins – nothing helps.

Any ideas what could actually help to get the plugin running? Thank you in advance
