Issues with Blog Widget

    Hi,

    First of all, love the level of options each of the widgets provide. I am pretty excited about this plugin. However, I do have some issues with the blog widget:

    1. Not sure in ‘Build Posts Query’ how to provide the ‘Additional’ attributes. for example I wanted to offset by 3. I tried array( ‘offset’ => 3) then ‘offset’ => 3, none of them is working.
    2. Format icon on the thumbnail image disables the link the thumbnail points to. Link is enabled outside of the format icon. I am showing format icon on hover. (btw, I also have image expands on hover)
    3. I have set “After Excerpt” as […] but it is never shown.
    4. Is there any option to use theme’s css for the “Read More” button?

    Correction to 2. Issue does not happen when thumbnail image is above the content. Left has the issue.

    Thanks for your appreciation.

    Going over the issues you have raised.

    1. To offset posts just enter offset = 3

    2. That is unexpected. I will check the code and fix it if there is an error.

    3. That should not happen. Which blog layout are you using?

    4. I will see if I can do that. The thing is different themes use different code to style buttons. Some use the <button> element others use classes like <a class="button">.

    I was thinking of adding an option to set default settings for a few widgets in the future. It may not be implemented in the next update. But will definitely be in the one following it.

    Sorry for the late reply. I was a little busy.

    Which theme are you using? Sometimes the theme modifies the excerpts.

    I am using Customizr theme.

    Also, any update on number 2 above?

    I have fixed issue 2 above.

    For issue 3, I used customizr theme and tested it out. It seemed to be working fine. Just deactivate your plugins, and reactivate them one at a time to see if any of them are causing the problem.

    As for issue 4. I am still working on it.
