I’m using WPAdverts and Gravity Forms on the same site. Although there is no Gravity form on the add a new ad page, Gravity Forms still adds the reCaptcha scripts to the page. As a result, it gets added twice and whenever I try to submit the form, I get an error “Incorrect captcha value.”

I tried disabling the reCaptcha from WPAdverts, but it still shows on the page. I had to deactivate the add-on for it to actually disappear from the form.

Any suggestions as to how to fix this? Or having the reCaptcha scripts in there from Gravity be enough to protect the form?

    Thanks

    Hi,

if i understand correctly you tried the option in WPAdverts reCAPTCHA to disable the captcha on the Ad details contact form but it still shows there? If so then i will check it tomorrow when i am back in the office.

In the meantime you could try using something like Plugin Organizer https://pl.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/plugin-organizer/ to disable the GF recaptcha on the Ad details pages (ie on “advert” Custom Post Type pages).

Thanks for the reply. I tried disabling scripts on the page with the form, but for some reason, it still won’t work for admins (I guess some scripts get added somehow to the toolbar), but I think we can live with that.

    Hi,

can you maybe send me a link to the page where you are having this a problem and a screen from the reCAPTCHA integration settings (for privacy you can send it via contact form at https://wpadverts.com/contact/).

I am testing the reCAPTCHA configuration right now, and disabling the reCAPTCHA on the contact form seems to be working fine for me, so i am not sure how to replicate this problem?

The problem is that the issues now only happen you are logged in as admin and the toolbar is showing. I made a development copy of the site, so I’ll send you some stuff to the contact form.

    Thank you for the help
