We have constant issues with jetpack sharing of republished posts to facebook (although i suspect it would happen to other services as well). The link that is shared looks like URL/?p=735615 except it doesn’t resolve to the newly republished post, it ends up not found.

Is there an adjustment to the filters/order of things that we can use in order to correct this behavior?

Hey Brandy,

I’m not a developer but I helped to report a similar issue to Yoast. It’s probably on JetPack to fix as reported in the issue report here: https://github.com/Yoast/duplicate-post/issues/358.

It’s probably related.

I’m sorry to learn that you are facing 404 in the post URL when you use Jetpack sharing. A bug report has been created (by Automattic i.e the parent company) on the Jetpack side as well since they are looking into this.
