Issues With Latest UPdate 403 Error
-
Hi,
Since you fixed the error with the API, the site seems to find the fonds for downloading them but when you hit save and optimize you are redirected to a 403 forbidden page – /wp-admin/options.php?tab=omgf-optimize-settings
Thanks,

Hi!
I responded to your last ticket, but I suppose the entire thread was moderated out?
Anyway, can you please make a screenshot of the error you’re seeing and also check your PHP error logs to see if there’s any kind of errors in there around the time you hit Save & Optimize?
Also, are you using any kind of PHP caching? E.g. Varnish? If so, flushing your caches might resolve this error.
That’ll help me debug this issue.
Hi,
Yes they cleared the thread as it appeared that I was jumping in on another thread, apologies.
The screenshot can be seen here – https://snipboard.io/dGzLDY.jpg and then if I click into the address bar and hit enter it takes me through to this page. https://snipboard.io/IvCAXg.jpg
I have been unable to see anything in the log files.
Thanks,
Hi, just wondering if you have any update?
This is a weird error. If OMGF Pro is properly activated, there’s no reason for it forbid accessing the page.
How about your Nginx/Apache logs?
Are you using any kind of PHP caching? E.g. Varnish? If so, flushing your caches might resolve this error.
Hello! I am getting this exact same 403 error when trying to Save & Optimize. I click that button and immediately get a 403 Forbidden error.
I have deleted and reinstalled, activated and de-activated the plugin 2 times. Same 403 error each time.
I am hopeful this can be resolved.
I’m researching the error as we speak. Can’t reproduce it, though.
Could you guys share a list of used plugins? That might reveal a compatiblity issue, or something.
Are your sites closed down to the public, by any chance? E.g. a staging site? Something else that might be relevant, what’s the value in the URL to Scan field?

An update on this – I have since gone ahead and purchased the Pro version of the plugin. It is throwing a critical website error now – please see below for information.
I have reinstalled wordpress to see if that was maybe causing the issue.
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'OMGF_Admin_Settings_Builder' not found in /home/jmk/insights.jmksolicitors.com/wp-content/plugins/host-google-fonts-pro/includes/admin/settings/class-optimize.php:30 Stack trace: #0 /home/jmk/insights.jmksolicitors.com/wp-content/plugins/host-google-fonts-pro/includes/class-admin.php(88): OmgfPro_Admin_Settings_Optimize->__construct() #1 /home/jmk/insights.jmksolicitors.com/wp-content/plugins/host-google-fonts-pro/includes/class-admin.php(79): OmgfPro_Admin->add_optimize_settings() #2 /home/jmk/insights.jmksolicitors.com/wp-content/plugins/host-google-fonts-pro/includes/class-omgf-pro.php(191): OmgfPro_Admin->__construct() #3 /home/jmk/insights.jmksolicitors.com/wp-content/plugins/host-google-fonts-pro/includes/class-omgf-pro.php(170): OmgfPro->do_admin() #4 /home/jmk/insights.jmksolicitors.com/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(303): OmgfPro->init_admin('') #5 /home/jmk/insights.jmksolicitors.com/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(327): WP_Hook->apply_filters(Object(WPMailSMTP\Admin\DashboardWid in /home/jmk/insights.jmksolicitors.com/wp-content/plugins/host-google-fonts-pro/includes/admin/settings/class-optimize.php on line 30 Notice: is_embed was called incorrectly. Just to make sure, you do still have OMGF installed? OMGF Pro runs as an add-on for OMGF.
My mistake – I installed OMGF but I am still receiving the error 403 forbidden when it tries to open the following URL – https://insights.jmksolicitors.com/wp-admin/options.php?tab=omgf-optimize-settings
Alright, so we’re back to my previous message: π

I have made all plugins inactive apart from
FFW.Press License Manager, OMGF and OMGF Pro. I am using the salient theme and made it inactive and changed to Twenty Twenty One.Due you want me to actually uninstall each plugin that I have or is making them inactive enough?
Thanks
My site is set to discourage search engines as it is a staging site. I have changed this.
The site URL is https://insights.jmksolicitors.com/
I do not see anything in the logs, debug or error that indeicates an issue.
I have now taken a backup of my site, uninstalled all of the plugins and set it to twenty tenry one them and still the error message. If i try to empty the cache from the plugin it does not give me the site URL to rescan.
