Issues with prices

Hi,

We are having some mismatch with prices. We have a Woocommerce shop where our product prices are entered exclusive of tax.

We are showing price + tax on single product pages and price without tax on cart / checkout. ( We have custom breakdown of costs there that is why we are using this setting mix )

Display prices in the shop setting is set to Including tax

Display prices during basket and checkout setting is set to Excluding tax

Events that are sent to Pinterest have price without tax because Display prices during basket and checkout is set to that.

Excellent solution for us would be to have separate switch in plugin settings to change if price should be sent including / excluding tax.

URL for the site is https://sub.pinterest-test.mtcdevserver4.com/product/polo/

You can see wrong product price after product is added to the cart.

You can check that using “Pinterest Tag Helper” extension for Google Chrome or by inspecting code.

Hey @dmmtc ,

Checking with development team what we can do with this type of issue, because if you set the settings as you say, there is a woocommerce notification that warns you about possible issues.

Hey @dmmtc ,

Hope you are doing well!

After checking with the development team, they told me the following:

That’s how the plugin works. The plugin takes into account the setting Display prices on cart/checkout for the add_to_cart and checkout events.

we are checking if there is a workaround you can do using some filters. Or you can add a new request feature here.
