Issues with protect-wp-admin plugin

    Hi, My name is Bilal Ahmed. I am using your plugin to hide my wp-admin login page. It is working fine on my local machine. But when I tried to use it on my live website, the plugin failed to work. In fact I was able to access the login page using both the slug and wp-admin. After entering my login details I was not able to login, I was getting redirected again and again to the login page even after entering all the correct login credentials.

    Is it because of https protocol on my live website. Because on my local machine I use http protocol and on my live site I use https. Could this be the reason of failure.

    Hi collinbecker,

    May be be issue were coming due to writable permission on your htaccess file OR you have not update your permalink to SEO friendly url after move site on https.

    Currently you can access your default admin url after disable my plugin, For disable to plugin, you will need to rename protect-wp-admin folder (wp-content >> plugins >> protect-wp-admin) to any other one and then try to access your default admin url.
