Issues with Solid Security (formerly iThemes Security Pro)
-
Hi,
When using certain options within Solid Security, it adds two comments into the
wp-config.phpfile. These comments typically look like the following:// BEGIN iThemes Security - Do not modify or remove this line
// iThemes Security Config Details: 2
....
....
// END iThemes Security - Do not modify or remove this lineWhen activating WP Super Cache, it always ends up adding the
WP_CACHEandWPCACHEHOMEdefines in between the above iThemes comments. The problem with this is that Solid Security will sometimes regenerate that code within thewp-config.phpfile, which ends up removing the defines added by WP Super Cache, causing the caching to stop working. I’ve seen this happen on multiple sites. When adding your defines, can you please check to make sure that they’re not being added in between (start and end) comments (i.e. other settings) from other plugins.
Thanks,
Anthony
