    Hi,

When using certain options within Solid Security, it adds two comments into the wp-config.php file. These comments typically look like the following:

// BEGIN iThemes Security - Do not modify or remove this line
// iThemes Security Config Details: 2
    ....
    ....
// END iThemes Security - Do not modify or remove this line

When activating WP Super Cache, it always ends up adding the WP_CACHE and WPCACHEHOME defines in between the above iThemes comments. The problem with this is that Solid Security will sometimes regenerate that code within the wp-config.php file, which ends up removing the defines added by WP Super Cache, causing the caching to stop working. I’ve seen this happen on multiple sites.

When adding your defines, can you please check to make sure that they’re not being added in between (start and end) comments (i.e. other settings) from other plugins.

    Thanks,
    Anthony

This is unfortunately a long-standing issue. There is a bug report here about it. I don’t know when it will be fixed, sorry.

Ahh thanks for that. Looks like that issue was raised almost 4 years ago. I guess I shouldn’t hold my breath for a fix. I appreciate the quick reply. Thanks 🙂

    Hey @ahortin,

Thanks for understanding about the non-ETA for the issue fix 🙂

This thread is now marked as solved. If you have any further questions or need more help, you’re welcome to open another thread here. Cheers!
