Issues with synching categories

Hi,
we just found out, that products do not longer sync their categories with Zettle. New products are imported without category at all, changing categories does not have any effect.
It might be (although difficult to confidentially say retrospectively) that people in the store moved some products into different categories on Zettle side, but I would have expected that this got overwritten with the next update.
Right now, the product / category assignments in Zettle are a mess – at least for new products and products with changed categories.
I now manually assigned the products to the right categories in Zettle to at least ease the pain for the store staff.
How can we fix this?
