Issues with wp_options and redirection

My boss has tasked me with separating a wordpress site from a multisite. When I do that, I change the wp_options siteurl and home to the new url. But something else keeps redirecting me to a completely different web site. At this point I can not continue developing with wordpress. I tried deleting one row at a time, and deleting chunks of rows, but nothing works – when I delete all but the first 10 rows, I don’t get redirected, but neither will the site load in a browser. How do I find the row in wp_options that is causing the redirection?
