It almost worked perfectly…

…but it didn’t include the plug-ins directory in the backup.

I was testing this in a new installation to see if I wanted to use it for backup and restore, and backed up by ftp to a different subdomain. When I then restored in that subdomain, I ended up with a fatal error, which tracked to the entire plugins directory being missing.

Once I copied in that subdirectory from the site I had backed up, all was good.

Any idea what might cause one directory to go missing like that? Is it possible that I didn’t wait long enough for the backup? I did notice that a message of “49 seconds remaining” lasted for about 10 minutes — long after the tar.gz file appeared on the server — but in the logs, my backup is marked as ok.
