It REALLY disables the plugins

Hello, I’m experiencing a strange issue using Plugin Organizer and can’t find a way to resolve it.

Let’s say I have 20 plugins in total, on my site.
I have set Plugin Organizer to not load 8 of them on pages and posts.

So, when I visit a page or post, it does what it’s supposed to and not load those 8.
The problem is that after that, if I go to the “Plugins” section of WordPress, those 8 are globally disabled, same as if I had hit the disable button on them.

I know this is not normal and not supposed to happen.
Can you please tell me what I may be doing wrong? Maybe I have a wrong setting?

Please let me know, I’m struggling for many hours.

There’s a security plugin that does this. Are you running any kind of WordPress security plugins? Are you running any caching plugins?

Hey, I’m running Comet Cache for caching and for security mainly Wordfence.
But I also have WPBruiser & WP Cerber.

As a temporary solution I deleted all the groups I had created for either pages or posts, etc so that the plugins won’t get automatically deactivated, but I really need those groups for better loading time.

Any idea for the cause of this?

It’s either your caching plugin or your security plugin. It keeps a cache of what is loaded on one page and tries to load that set on the plugins page. Then the plugins that weren’t loaded get disabled because they aren’t loaded on the plugins page.

Ok, I’ll try disabling these plugins and test it out.

Yes. There’s another long post in this support forum about it. It was caused by a security plugin.

It was due to a plugin called swift security.

I dont use Swift Security, Cache plugins, or Wordfence plugin.
