Item quantity not displaying correctly

Just setting up WooCommerce on an existing WordPress platform, so site is not yet fully operational. For some reason, the item quantity on the product and cart pages is not displaying properly. It’s almost as if the box for this display is not big enough to show the quantity.

When I hover over the item quantity box, I can use the up/down arrows to increase/decrease quantity. but I cannot see how many I have requested, even on the cart page. My guess is that with our site integration, the default box size is too small. My first thought is that I’m going to need to increase the width of that box in the PHP files, but I haven’t yet convinced our site admin to give me FTP access. Perhaps there’s a WordPress or WooCommerce setting I haven’t found yet? If my hunch is correct, could someone confirm that I’m going to need to change this in the php files for those pages? That should give me the justification I need to get FTP access, if only to the WooCommerce directory.

Yes, the box is too small. There isn’t a setting for this. It can’t be made bigger using PHP. Size is governed by styles.

You can override the default style using this custom css:
```
.woocommerce .quantity .qty {
  width: 6em !important;
}
```
Custom css can be entered at:
Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

6em is wide enough for four digits. If you need more digits, use a bigger number.

You don’t need FTP access for this issue, but if you still want FTP access, you can use a file manager plugin to get most of the way there:

And others. Note that if you crash the code using the file manager plugin, easily done with any dodgy code, you will need FTP access to fix it,
