Hi,
The “item too big” warning you are seeing in your merchant center is probably related to product descriptions or product names in your feed that are too long. They have nothing to do with the long list of attributes you have in WooCommerce (and thus in your drop-downs).
Product descriptions can be no longer than 5000 characters and product names are not allowed to be longer than 150 characters.
i think you are confusing “item too big” with “too long description”. i dont have a 5000 charecter description on my site, and this guide by google https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/1139283?hl=en
say the error is because :
1. Your items contain more than 1000 attributes. Please find the list of relevant attributes in our Product data specification.
2. The content in an attribute in an item exceeds 10 KB.
im looking to understand why the plugin create fake attribute as you can see here https://ibb.co/N7w7VPv
Those are not “fake” attributes, they really exists in your WooCommerce database. They are probably added/created by one of the plugins you are using.
Please share your product feed URL with us so we can have a look at your feed.
Thanks, I had a look and the reason you are seeing this “item is too big” notification is because of the size of the feed and product items. You have many hundreds of different shipping costs and classes per product, that is too much for Google.
Perfect, thanks for the heads-up
