    Hi,

    I have spent time looking over your documentation and can not find an answer to this question.
    I am working with a client who is making an eCommerce website and sells shoes.

    The whole idea is to give her customers the ability to customise her options which we are doing through dropdowns by creating variations.

    a shoe will include the following;
    4 heel heights
    18 shoe sizes
    2 options for the toe
    30 crystal colours for middle
    30 crystal colours for bottom
    30 crystal colours for top

    4 x 18 x 2 x 30 x 30 x 30 = 3,888,000 different variations…

    Is there a better way to configure this sort of option in woocommerce?

    If the options don’t need different sku or prices, you can use ANY which means you don’t need to generate all combinations.

    is it as variable item still?

    Yes select ANY in the dropdown of attributes.

    I don’t appear to have this as an option when I am in the attributes screen

    oh I see.
    step 1. Add attributes
    step 2. Add a single variation
    step 3. Select the variation options to be “any”
