iThemes Security breaking admin panel hell…
-
According to my log pages, my site is under constant attack, thousands of times a month. This was never the case with Better WP Security, or if it was, I never knew about it. But since I migrated to iThemes, my site is inundated. And so severely, I’ve chosen to use Away Mode almost continuously. This is a real pain because I don’t always know when I’ll have time to do anything through my Admin Panel. My only recourse has been to enter my d-base using my ftp client server app so I can delete the plug in. It’s a pain in the neck to have to do this but I haven’t figured out any other way to bat the hackers away. I’ve done it since last summer when the problem started and it’s worked.
It worked yesterday. But today, I get a white screen whenever I attempt to get to my admin panel despite having disabled the Security plug-in, despite having white-listed my ISP yesterday, before I ran into this problem today.
What now?
