iThemes Security Network Brute Force Protection admin-ajax.php

iThemes Security Version 4.4.18

This morning I enabled Network Brute Force Protection by filling in the email address and checking the checkbox Get your iThemes Brute Force Protection API Key Receive email updates about WP Security from iThemes and clicking save all changes.

Now admin-ajax.php is running every 2 minutes.

To stop it I have unchecked the Receive email updates about WP Security from iThemes then unchecked the Enable local brute force protection checkboxes and clicking save all changes, both before and after deactivating all other plugins. I even deactivated iThemes Security with and with out all other plugins deactivated and admin-ajax.php is running every 2 minutes.

How do I stop admin-ajax.php from running every 2 minutes?
