Some further information.
So we have a number of products that capture fields it’s stored as metadata.
Normally this metadata shows in Admin emails, However when we see the custom email injected into the admin (that shouldn’t be in the admin email anyway) it seems to knock the meta fields out from showing in the email under the line items

The Email template that is being injected is used by a number of products when the order is triggered completely. any idea?
Thanks, @tworak. I’ll have to take a look at this. I haven’t been able to devote any time to this project lately — my regular work has been consuming all my free time.
+1 on this functionality.
I notice the custom message shows in both the customer email and the admin email. Not a huge ordeal, but would be nice if it was limited to customer email, or maybe given a choice on which email it was added to (admin vs customer). Just in case you wanted the admin to get a special message with the order of certain products, “Contact Customer with…”
I’d pay for a pro version of this plugin to get that functionality.

I am glad to announce I’ve just pushed out a fix for this issue. The Custom Email Messages will no longer show in the Admin “New Order” emails.
Please try using version 2.2.3 to resolve this issue.
