• Hello all,

Submitting a new show to iTunes. iTunes sees my feed, but it won’t validate – reporting:
“Can’t submit your feed. There is no explicit tag in your feed, or the explicit tag is empty.”
Thing is, I have PowerPress set to “Yes Clean” (and a G rating elsewhere).
Suggestions? Link included is to my category.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

What is the URL to the feed you tried to submit to iTunes?

    I submitted this feed “https://readacomic.com/category/podcast/feed/”.

Same feed has been submitted to Google Play, Stitcher, etc and is fine for them.
I’ve also scoured all Blubrry plugin settings to be sure any/all requests for “rating” are answered. Would “Yes Clean” on one screen conflict with “G, PG, etc.” on another?

You’ve submitted a Category feed. Take a look at your PowerPress settings and see if the checkbox next to Category Podcasting has been selected at the bottom of the page. If it has, go to the settings for the Podcast category feed and ensure they’re all accurate, including the explicit tag setting.

If the checkbox hasn’t been checked, check it and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page. Then, go to the feed settings for the Podcast category and ensure all settings are correct, including the explicit tag setting.

That did the trick – going in through the category exposed some options I’d not seen yet.

Thank you very much for your time!
