Hi Jess,
try the original feed http://audiosmut.ca/feed/ or the podPress podcast feed http://audiosmut.ca/feed/podcast. Both are valid RSS feeds. But if you validate the feedburner feed e.g with http://validator.w3.org/feed/ then you will see that this feed is not valid. Maybe this is the problem.
The RSS feeds of your blog are having all necessary elements (iTunes-tags) for iTunes. That is what podPress does.
Have they explained the technical problems in more details?
Regards,
Tim
Hi Tim
Thanks for the advice. I will try that. Does this mean the feedburner feed is not working at all, ex. for people that would just want to use it in google reader?
I had validated it with feedvalidator.org before but something is definitely wrong.
Will keep trying.
Thanks again.
Jess
The Feedburner feed works probably with most feed readers. I have tried to subscribe with Thunderbird. It worked. And I know a different podcast which uses a Feedburner feed for iTunes and it works for them. But these additional Feedburner elements which are causing these error messages during the validation are not necessary for the iTunes repository.
So, I don’t know if these Feedburner tags are the problem for iTunes but I see no other technical problems at the moment.
If the original feed does not work then it would be very interesting to know what the iTunes guys say about what is causing the problems.
Thanks so much for you help. I understand your points now. Thanks for the extra explanation. I will try with the other feeds.
Jess
