itunes subscription URL wrong

Hi,
we have some issues with our itunes subsciption. The Podcast startet to show up 3 times with different URLs on itunes. In our Podcast Connect there is only 1 podcast shown 🙁 so really no idea what happened.

The correct one would be this: https://itunes.apple.com/de/podcast/ihr-erfolgskick-und-damit/id366786291.

This one is shown as subscription URL on my wp site – though I have changed it to the upper mentioned link.
https://itunes.apple.com/de/podcast/martin-limbeck-podcast/id670001524

This one – I have no idea.

I have asked Apple to remove the other 2 URLs – but in the meantime, I don´t know, why the changes in my subscpription URL are not reflected in the plugin. Any idea?

Please respond with a link to a page where you’re seeing the incorrect iTunes link and we’ll take a look at what’s going on.

i have changed the itunes subscription URL in the backend to https://itunes.apple.com/de/podcast/martin-limbeck-podcast/id366786291 yesterday.

in the frontend the itunes subscription URL still goes to https://itunes.apple.com/de/podcast/ihr-erfolgskick-und-damit/id670001524?mt=2&ls=1

i don´t use any caching plugins.

one more weird thing…
I have changed the itunes artwork and the new image is shown on https://itunes.apple.com/de/podcast/martin-limbeck-podcast/id1017261939.

You’ve set yourself up to use a category feed as opposed to the default podcast feed. Try this:
1.) Log into your WordPress site.
2.) Hover over the PowerPress link in the lefthand sidebar.
3.) Click the Category Podcasting link in the popup menu.
4.) Click the Edit link under the name of your podcast.
5.) Change the artwork and iTunes links settings there so they match the correct information.

ok cool. thanks. I didn´t get it, that this has to be done there.

Now even the subscription URL should be right.

I still have to find out, how to get rid of the other 2 podcasts on itunes. I have tried to update the feed URL of the only podcast I can find in https://podcastsconnect.apple.com to the category feed. I have no ideas where the other 2 are coming from.

Are there any other adjustments to do in the PowerPress Settings (general not under category podcasting)? E.g. the feed URL there is different from the one in category podcasting (http://www.managementtraining.de/category/podcast/feed/ vs. http://www.managementtraining.de/feed/podcast/).

The http://www.managementtraining.de/feed/podcast/ feed is called your default podcast feed. The settings for that can be found by going to PowerPress >> Settings.

The best way to get those duplicate iTunes Store listings removed would be to contact iTunes support directly. Use the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page:
http://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview
