The problem seems to be that the itunes:image URL is not correct or the file is not publicly available.
The current iTunes:image URL in the feed http://cccomaha.org/blogs/podcast/feed/ (or http://feeds.feedburner.com/CccMessage) is http://web.me.com/cccomaha/Site/CCC_Message/CCC_Message_files/shapeimage_1.png
If I open this URL in my browser I get only a mobile.me/iCloud message – but not the image file.

I am coming up blank when trying to figure out how to change it. I’ve got the think http://cccomaha.org/blogs/podcast/files/2012/06/ccc-circle.jpg in the iTunes:Image section in PodPress. Do I need to look somewhere else?

You can configure more than one feed with podPress.
If you want to configure the http://cccomaha.org/blogs/podcast/feed/ feed then you need to go to the Feed/iTunes Settings page and scroll down a little bit to the section podPress Feeds.
The feed with the name podcast is probably the first in the list and has its own option for the itunes:image. Insert the URL there.
