Hi John,
that’s great news! 🙂
I don’t think that we’ll be able to easily solve the issue in the tabs/accordion, unfortunately. Due to how that works (hiding HTML elements on the page), the width and positioning calculation of the scrolling elements in the table is thrown off regularly. I remember seeing that in the past with similar tables.

Tobias
Tobias,
Sadly still not quite right
http://www.donnington-grove.com/members-home/seniors-area/seniors-summer-matches/john10/
when using search for “players” , the formatting on the first page goes wrong, with vertical offset on the fixed columns, whether I fix left or right or both. Going to next page displays fine but page one has bad formatting,
Nearly there!
John
Hi,
I can’t reproduce issues with the search term “players”, but that might be browser-dependent.
Regardless, I don’t see anything else that we can do here, except update to the latest version of the FixedColumns JS code. As mentioned above, I’ll probably not have a chance to add that to the Extension before the end of the month. Sorry.
Regards,
Tobias
Tobias,
you are right. Just for information
Working – chrome on iMac, explorer on windows, firefox on windows
Not working – Safari on iPad air, Safari on iMac, firefox on iMac.
I’ll wait a while and try 1.5 and also wait until the end of the month for new extension.
Happy Days,
John
Hi,
thanks for checking all that! Really crazy that all those browser/OS combinations behave so differently…
Yes, the new version is our best bet here. Note that the update won’t show up on your site’s “Plugins” screen as the TablePress Extensions are not part of the WordPress plugin repository. You’ll therefore have to check the page http://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-fixedcolumns/ regularly, to see if the version changed. I’ll try to remember posting here, once I publish the update.
Regards,
Tobias
