Hello Frank,
need your help/advice.
Have AO and Fastest Cache and untill last week and last AO update it worked great.
Minifying CSS and JS in WP fastest cache is disabled; in AO had enabled: Optimize JS, aggregate JS-files, aggregate inline JS, Force JavaScript in <head>.
After last week update, images on site disappeared, and when disable “Force JavaScript in <head>” they are back BUT site is much, much slower.
Any suggestion what to change to get back as it was? Thanks.

“force JS in head” is actually discouraged, as it makes the JS render-blocking. based on what do you consider the page faster when forced on head?

Based on GTmetrix.

With ‘forced on head? enabled result is:

Fully Loaded Time Total Page Size Requests
7.1s 1.04MB 29

With ‘forced on head? disabled result is:
Fully Loaded Time Total Page Size Requests
12.1s 1.10MB 36

don’t focus on fully loaded, but check “first paint” and “onload” instead 🙂
