    Hi,

on this page (https://faerberwirt.adhouse.cc/reservieren/) I have embedded Forminator form. I’ve never had any problems with the plugin but now the first dropdown select “Anrede” is disabled => “display: none” on this element.

There is an JavaScript error in the Console, too.

Can you please help me, thanks!

    Best regards

  • Hi @froeschlb,

Could you please provide us with an export of your form so we could test this further on our end and see what might be going on?
You can go to Forminator > Forms page, click on Gear icon next to your form and select Export from there.
Upload the export file to any file sharing service like GDrive or Dropbox and share the download link here.

    Cheers,
    Predrag

    Hi Predrag,

thank you for the fast answer!

Here is the link to the export: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gh69jw04qtnriup/forminator-reservierungsformular-form-export.txt?dl=0

I started the form with a “Blank Form” and just added the selects, inputs and so on…

    Thanks,
    Bernhard

    Hi @froeschlb

Thank you for the form, it seems to work fine on my website:

Can you please add the form back on any of your website page and share the link?

It can be a temporary page, the one shared before is getting a 404 page.

    Hi Patrick,

thanks for your answer and sorry for the 404 error – the page did change; but now it is available at https://faerberwirt.adhouse.cc/reservieren/ again.

On this site is a JavaScript error in the forminator-JS files.
When I change the order of the fields; when I put the first select “Anrede” under the input fields “Vorname” and “Nachname” the select field works. So the select fields “Uhrzeit” (time) is working, too. But not on the very first place.

    Best regards

    Hi @froeschlb,

I was also able to test the form on a demo site and a select field is working properly: https://snipboard.io/4Xl50E.jpg

This error you are having with Forminator JS file seems to be caused by a conflict with your current site setup. Please make sure if you have any optimization/performance plugin or theme option that adjusts plugin assets, to temporarily deactivate or exclude Forminator assets. Make sure that if you have any other plugins that have similar features as Forminator are also deactivated.

Let us know how it goes for you.

    Hi,

    thanks for your answer!

I disabled all plugins and tested it again – but it didn’t help and the JS error is the same. I’m using Forminator on many other websites and even with the same plugins like on this page. I’ve never had any problems – only on this page.

Do you have an idea what else I can try?

    Thanks and best regards,
    Bernhard

    Hi @froeschlb

    Thank you for the update.

Could you please try this troubleshooting test:

    – Duplicate your Form
    – Remove one field each time https://monosnap.com/file/4pvEcZ6UHrGYJAMPwA0LmXDFUnHilI
    – Every time that a field is removed, save the settings and check the front end, if the issue is gone it is because of that specific field.
    – Try to recreate the field and check if the issue is gone or its returns.

Let us know the result you got.
    Best Regards

    Hi,

    thanks for your response!

I just wanted to try what you have written, but now – after the automatic update four days (v1.14.9) ago – it works. Maybe the WordPress version 5.7 is also a reason for that behaviour.

So all works and this thread can be closed – thanks!

    Best Regards
    Bernhard
