Javascript error – ColumnFilterWidgets do not load on Internet Explorer

    Hello Tobias,

    I am opening a new topic for better tracking in order to help others if they face same problem.

    So, I’ve noticed that the same page: http://yesmedia.eu/xenialive/table-press/ when i open it with Internet Explorer 11, 10, 9 etc do not load properly.

    For all other modern browsers (Edge, Chrome, Mozilla, Opera) loads as it should be.

    Hi,

    unfortunately, I have no idea why this happens, sorry 🙁
    And I don’t have an Internet Explorer to test 🙁

    I enable the option “Compatibility View” and now it loads as it should be.
    Explorer’s World, but still a lot of people use it and we must test it! 😛

    Hi,

    yeah, IE is tricky. You could maybe check the error log console to see where potential JS error come from.

    Hi Juan

    May I ask how you resolved this, I have the exact same problem, says “[table “” not found /]” in explorer but works great in the real browsers.

    Edit: sorry, was to quick. Found that my customized template loaded its own outdated js-version when on explorer 🙂

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    This is a completely different error, it has nothing to do with the discussion above. In your case, something seems to interfere with the [table] Shortcode. I recommend to change it and e.g. use [tp_table]. For that, you can use https://tablepress.org/extensions/table-shortcode/
