I recently updated to the latest version of AAM and I can no longer select users or roles to edit. At the top of the page is an error about Javascript. When I check the console I see:

datatables.min.js:182 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘pageButton’ of undefined
load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mo…:5 Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user’s experience. For more help, check http://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/.

The database.min.js file is the one that AAM is loading, so I can’t follow the advice of other threads which would be to disable the conflicting plugin.

Any help would be most appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • Hi qurgh,

Thank you for posting your questions.
It is really hard to say what plugin causes this error. There are a lot of plugins in WordPress repository that print unnecessary javascript libraries and this what causes issues.

The only way to find-out which one does it is to deactivate each plugin one-by-one.

Sorry but at this point there is no other solution for that.

    Regards,
    Vasyl
