Javascript for Anchor ?

Hello ,
I have several page urls indexed by google, including anchor with parametter (an heritage from previous wordpress them builder).
Those look like that :

https://www.mysite.com/mypage/#elementor-action:action=popup:open&settings=eyJpZCI6IjI5OTIxIiwidG9nZ2xlIjp0cnVlfQ==

(the anchor part always looks the same).

I would like to simply redirect them to the page without anchor.
https://www.mysite.com/mypage/

If I correctly read the documentation, it’s not possible to do that with this plugin. And you suggest to use java-script to to that. Correct?

I have no idea how to do that.
You are the expert. I understand it goes a bit beyond the scope of the support for this plugin. But it might worth asking.

Would you have a piece of code to share, that I could copy/past ?
Or a tutorial, a web page to recommend?
